Rezension
Das ist der dritte Band einer Serie. Band 1 fand ich super, Band 2 unterhaltsam.
Finlay Donovan gehört zu den eher tollpatschigen Charakteren: Sie will nur das Beste für ihre Kinder und ihre Familie, aber irgendwie gerät sie immer in heikle Situationen, die sie in die Illegalität treiben.
Auch ihr Sidekick Vero, ihre Kinderfrau, ist nicht frei von Geheimnissen, ist jedoch eher pragmatisch veranlagt.
Diese beiden Figuren sind die Antreiber der Story. Der Plot als solcher ist eher chaotisch, nicht so ganz schlüssig und in diesem Buch leider auch nicht immer spannend, aber es macht einfach Spaß, dem Treiben der Protagonisten zuzuschauen.
So wirklich gepackt hatte mich die Geschichte nicht, dennoch ist es ein unterhaltsamer Roman. Ich würde auch eventuelle Folgebände noch lesen.
